The Hibiscus Herbal Tea blend is a caffeine free herbal tea. The calyces of the Hibiscus flower (which form the outer covering of the flower buds) are dried and used to make a rosy, citrus flavored tea. Rich in Vitamin A and Vitamin C, this herb also contains beta-carotene, making it an antioxidant that replaces electrolytes and can even ease symptoms of colds, flu, and coughs. We do not recommend this tea be served with milk, as hibiscus will cause it to curdle, but sugar can be added to enhance the taste. When brewed, this hibiscus herbal tea tastes similar to lemonade.
For the best brew, we recommend Hibiscus herbal tea steep in water that has been brought to a rolling boil for 5-10 minutes.
